About Roumania

Continental climate is advantageous for white wines as for red, often rather tannic wines.

They are produced from international or local grape varieties, such the (light) babeasca neagra and the feteasca neagra (more tough and tannic) in several regions among which Dealul Mare, Banat or Vrancea.

The production of the best white wines concentrates in two regions. Near Black Sea, vineyard of Murfatlar produced of delightful chardonnay, pinot grey and muscat ottonel. The Moldova, is renowned longstanding for its wine of ssert of Cotnari.
