About Castille-Leon
Situated northwest of Madrid, the newly-acquired appellation Toro has a nice reputation predominantly in its red wines made from a local variety of tempranillo, the tinto.
Success is still assured in Ribera del Duero. Vineyards located in higher altitudes inherit from a freshness which make them easily digestible, refreshing and very sweet-scented just like the famous Vega Sicilia, Spains' most famous wine.
Other appellations include: Bierzo, Rueda, Cicadas.
