About Tuscany
Between Florence and Montalcino, the landscapes of Tuscan hills represent probably one of the most bright symbols of the domestication of nature by the man.
Wines of the region are in this picture, such them better Vino nobile di Montepulciano or of Chianti and Chianti classico, shimmering red wines and existent charmers predominantly of excel it sangiovese.
A neighbouring variety of this grape variety, the grosso (sangiovese in big grains) is used to work out the red wine of the prestigious appellation Brunello di Montalcino, which declines in more approachable reds in the appellation Rosso di Montalcino.
Other appellations: Vernaccia di san Gimignano (white wines of high quality), Carmignano rosso riserva, Bolgheri.
