About Canton de Vaud

The nearness of the Lake Léman is advantageous because the reverberation of the sun in water warms up grapevines in summer and helps the wine to mature.

Wines produced here are principally made from the russet chasselas grape (which gives it its famous fendant). These come from areas as La Côte, Lavaux and du Cablais, wines are in general fruity and lively.

To note that Chablais also produces good red wines of pinot black complicated enough. Lavaux, classified vineyard worldwide Heritage, has two great vintages, Dézaley and Calamin.

The plan Robez, original red grape variety, has just been delayed in production in the zone of the pretty village winegrower of Epesses.
