Tullamore Dew
The Tullamore Dew Distillery was built from Michael Mooloy in the Bridge Street in Tullamore in 1829. After the death of Molloys, his nephew Bernard Daly took over the company. He passed it on to his son in 1887. When Daniel E. Williams became general director , he expanded and improved the production plants. In 1931, the Williams-Family took over all shares of the distillery from the Dalys. Today, Tullamore Dew (commercial-slogan: "Give Every Man his dew") is one of the most known Irish-Whiskey-Producers.
This bottle appeared in the September 1960 EUVS Catalogue and was therefore acquired by the museum between 1958 and 1960.
