Explorer Vodka was developed in the 1950s by Vin & Spiritcentralen, the Swedish monopoly. Targeted for the US market, this potato-based product failed at launch. But back in Sweden, Explorer became one of the most popular brands of vodka. It is still in production today.

This bottle appeared in the September 1960 EUVS Catalogue and was therefore acquired by the museum between 1958 and 1960.
