Eau-de-vie de Quetsch is distilled in copper alembic stills from Quetsch plums, the same fruit used to make slivovitz. These plums are popularly grown in the Alsace region. The spirit is closely related to eau-de-vie de Mirabelle and eau-de-vie de Prune.
