The Magnificent Seven blog

Late October 2008 and seven respected industry figures are gathered in a film studio in North London. Angus Winchester arrives first, always eager to get in on the action. Gradually each guru arrives and over early morning coffee and croissants, the director explains that they’re here to make the perfect round of cocktails. However, there’s a twist. Each of them has to perform just one stage in the process, but it all has to be timed together to create one magical sequence. A day of mixing, throwing, catching, dropping, laughing and carving ice diamonds was spent while catching up with old friends from around the world. Here we spill the secrets of how we turned Ueno-san, Angus, Simon, Jamie, Michael, Gary and Peter into The Magnificent Seven.
