The house of Marquis de Montesquiou is one of the founding armagnac houses. The most famous Montesquiou of them all was the celebrated musketeer Count d'Artagnan.
Marquis de Montesquiou's famous ageing cellars, located in the town of Eauze are known as "the cathedral" which house over 1800 casks of vintages dating back to the 1700s.
